Monica Cure is the winner of the 2023 Oxford-Weidenfeld prize for her translation of The Censor’s Notebook by Liliana Corobca. She focuses on Romanian to English literary translation and does limited specialty commercial translation (HBO Romania, Mobra Films, Catinca Tabacaru art gallery).
